ATEV sets out to build a single platform for Indian EV ownership

The company will bring charging, community, resale, valuation and advice under one roof, with the owner rather than the asset at the centre.

ATEV today set out its intention to build a single platform covering the whole of electric vehicle ownership in India — charging discovery and payment, an owner community, a resale marketplace, test drives, battery-aware valuation, an assistant and fleet services.

The gap the company is addressing

Indian EV owners currently deal with a separate app, wallet and balance for each charging network, no trusted read on battery health at resale, and no durable place for owner knowledge. ATEV does not own chargers, which the company says is what allows it to rank stations by whether they work.

Every part of this market has an owner except the driver’s experience of it.

The community opens first, followed by charging in the app for members. Marketplace, valuation and the assistant follow in the order members vote for.
